Hygiene
In the workplace, you must take care of your own personal hygiene. Bathing on a regular basis will help you maintain good hygiene. It is also a good idea to wear deodorant and perfume in a tasteful manner; however, please keep your workplace policies in mind, as you may not be allowed to wear fragrance! Use common sense and be mindful of others.
If you’re in a situation where the bad hygiene of a colleague has become a problem, tell management. It is not your responsibility to address an employee problem. If the employee happens to be a friend, you may still want to address the problem yourself. If you choose to do this, you must remember to be as respectful as you possibly can. Saying, “You stink!" is NOT an acceptable way to approach this type of problem!
